"Registration Requirements"
Register your Horse in the Half Draft Horse Registry
of America
- Riding Horse Breeding Stock: This registry is
open to any registered riding horse regardless of breed and is
awarded automatically upon application to the Registry.
- Draft Horse Breeding Stock: This registry is
open to any registered draft horse regardless of breed and is
awarded automatically upon application to the Registry.
- Foundation Half Draft: This registry is awarded
to any foal who is the result of the mating of a Registered Riding
Horse Breeding Stock and a Registered Draft Horse Breeding Stock
or to two Foundation Half Draft parents.
- Appendix Breeding Stock: This registry is open
to any grade horse that does not qualify for the Riding, Draft or
Foundation Registry, but is of exceptional size and temperament
and would be an asset to the breed. These horses are placed in the
Appendix Breeding Stock Registry until a representative of The
Registry Board of Directors makes a site visit and the horse is
declared eligible for movement into classification 1, 2, or
3.
The fee to register each horse is $25 and the
appropriate Registration Certificate will be mailed directly to
you.
